I was trying to lay out some squares....
which i tend to do on my bed or the floor...
neither of which was working today due to some rather large dog paws walking across them....
so I had to make an impromptu design wall...
i throw some batting over a bookcase...it's weighted down by a basket of miscellaneous craft items and my letter bookends...
random items used in a time of desperate need...
oh yeah...i'm like the McGyver of quilting....
